Orienteering race 1:14:59 [3]

Pewsey Vale event. It wasn't the best event to be honest, my orienteering felt very random. For example I made a stupid parallel error on the way to the first control, and went to some adjacent boulders. Then I had a great run to the second control with nice control flow, but wasn't thinking properly on the way to 3. Something I really have to work on is maintaining my focus. I didn't feel like I was running very fast either, but to be fair, what we were running though was either logged pine forests or overgrown/scrappy native bush. All in all, I should've pushed myself to do better both mentally and physically.

On the positive side, I stumbled across an echidna! I've never seen an echidna when orienteering, so that made me happy at least! haha

Probably the slowest park run I have ever done. I had slept through my alarm, rode down as my warm up and arrived just as they started! So I'm not exactly sure of the time.

Ride to park run, then to the central markets for second breakfast and home again before work!

Yay! Rest day! But the ride to Uni felt much slower, especially with the cold wind.. brrrr winter is coming.
