BUCS XC, Holyrood. Strong winds made running in one direction especially difficult, and it was fairly muddy and I just didn't feel exactly sprightly which is annoying. Would like to have clung onto Roanne but lost her right off the start line. Oh well, a cool atmosphere and a home bucs!!!

No full long run as tapering so went from kings with Freya again to get in the nice trails without the long road slog to get there. Some looping round Hermitage, hiding from the grim weather.

HMR taper edition aka no extra before or after. Was hoping to run the bucs course so wore my trails, but nobody had torches so we stuck to the roads. My poor feet/calves werent too happy and hence my calves got tight to the extent that my right leg and foot went numb:///
