Another attempt at TURF, with more success! Headed up the hill towards Holme Styes in the hope id get more signal, which I did! Had such a lovely run all the way up to the top of Linshaws and up Snailsden then back across to the top of Ramsden Clough, along and down Ramsden road. Which was just a sheeeet of ice so super sketch but made it out alive with only a couple close calls. Got many turfs, although still missed out on 4 from lack of signal:(

Up on the Moss with dad. Drove up the top and ran across to Black Hill, which tbh was pretty miserable. Every few steps my feet would break through the ice and be plunged into ice cold bog so they had no chance to warm up and just turned into block of ice. Very happy to reach the trig and the nicely paved Pennine Way, so left dad to head back and I enjoyed the downhill all the way home, via Issues Road.

Absolutely pissing it down all day (and for 3 days solid, thanks Christoph) so honestly don't know how I got myself out for this. Given the weather I didn't want to go all the way down to sands again, so went for the mill pond loop of ~1.6k and some climb. 3x7(2) + 3x2(1). Couldn't face the longer EUOC reps so opted for this instead so I'd actually finish a decent session. Given the condition underfoot and the variation of terrain/climb there's not much point commenting on any paces. Kept the effort high and got it done.
