Sadly snow roads ride was cancelled on weather forecast that never materialised. Got in a good chat with Jon and have had a few thoughts for now.
1. I can't train for endurance all Summer then expect to do well on a 100 sec hill climb
2 I defo need to do some intensity, so plan is to get this niggle fixed then run 1/2 intense sessions a week and/or put in some more intense efforts on rides.
3 do some core, one thing I have especially noticed is my breathing has been off and in the past doing core has helped to control this.
Still got 3 more weekends of bike racing coming up, and looking forward to going out and giving them my best and see what I can do before putting in a good winter and coming back much stronger next year.

Clearly I am not in good shape, but this has put plenty of fuel on the fire. There was once a Ewan that would run till he was sick then get up and run some more, who would push himself harder than anyone I've ever met, time to reserect this person and put in some serious graft, very done with being mediocre .

Knee hip and hammy all feeling pretty broken, going to be a bit of a grind back in to running. Good run tho and good to get back in the swing with a good group
