Running race 41:48 [4] 10.0 km (4:11 / km) +70m 4:02 / km
shoes: Adidas Pureboost DPR

Fun race, four other Hudson guys came along for the run. I stuck with Max for the first seven kilometers before he kicked pretty hard, the other three guys were just behind us.

We started the race at a scary pace, but it was still early doors so we were still talking a little before stuff got serious. The guy in front of us asked us if we've ever done the Securian before and warned us that there would be a rough climb later in the course so we should conserve more energy. It turned out alright, the climb wasn't difficult, and I'm happy with the run!

Friday Jan 26 #

Note

Ran very very very easy but I don't have GPS data yet because I'm staying overnight and racing tomorrow

Running 41:52 [2] 5.23 km (8:00 / km) +79m 7:27 / km
shoes: Adidas Pureboost DPR

This one was kinda weird, day before race, just getting some movement. A mix between road-running, lake running, orienteering, and other stuff.

Thursday Jan 25 #

Running 58:34 [3] 12.1 km (4:50 / km) +111m 4:38 / km
shoes: Adidas Pureboost DPR

Good run, I felt a little tired but got through it, the snow is very slippery and most sidewalks don't exist anymore. We never seem to be able to agree on which side of the road to bail to.

North Korea seeking that union, about as likely as an Adidas sponsorship. Anything's possible I guess

Tuesday Jan 23 #

Running 33:56 [3] 6.73 km (5:03 / km) +79m 4:46 / km
shoes: Adidas Pureboost DPR

This is a sorry excuse for a run, we spent 24 minutes crossing a bridge.

33:56 isn't the actual time, that's just the amount of time we were actually running.

Conditioning 20:45 [3]

Regular core/upper body, followed by functional strength.

Note

Watched the men's middle from WOC

Monday Jan 22 #

Note

A lot of college stress this morning but we're fine now it's good everything's fine and alright.

Running 25:56 [3] 5.56 km (4:40 / km) +1m 4:40 / km
shoes: Adidas Pureboost

Note

Watched some of last year's WOC relay, I forgot about that mess with Switzerland petitioning for Sweden to be disqualified, what happened in the end anyone remember?
