Note

My nostrils froze immediately when I went outside, this weather is not faffing about.

Easy Run 28:14 [3] 6.12 km (4:37 / km) +44m 4:27 / km

We were going to do a longer loop, but we barely got out of Max's driveway before aborting to the three-mile route. We added a little at the end to talk a little more.

The wind chill outside is too cold, don't want to take an easier day but my hands are pretty tied. Tomorrow I'll be outside no matter the weather.

The ground was icy and snowy, but the pace was still pretty close to target pace.
2x 3, 2, 1 minute with 90 seconds of rest, followed by 8x 30 on 30 off that got interrupted by a stoplight. About 10 minutes of cooldown running back to school.

Easy Run race 41:48 [4] 10.0 km (4:11 / km) +70m 4:02 / km
shoes: Adidas Pureboost DPR

Fun race, four other Hudson guys came along for the run. I stuck with Max for the first seven kilometers before he kicked pretty hard, the other three guys were just behind us.

We started the race at a scary pace, but it was still early doors so we were still talking a little before stuff got serious. The guy in front of us asked us if we've ever done the Securian before and warned us that there would be a rough climb later in the course so we should conserve more energy. It turned out alright, the climb wasn't difficult, and I'm happy with the run!
