Woke up groggy and had to get up to eat and catch Ali's ride. Along with likely lost fitness from the last week and my knee, ended up not being a race. Just got round. Two notable mistakes, read 14 to 13 instead of 12 to 13, silly stuff, and tried reading vegetation into 8 and failed, 7 minutes or so gone there. Was fun getting out but was sad not to be able to race properly. That'll getcha. Now we back home so back to training.

Got some carpet burn three nights ago, quite grim and has a bit of orange pus. Gonna call someone for medical advice when I have a chance, knee went into the sand today right on the burn and it was absolutely and completely grim. Cleaned it out with water, put antiseptic on it, put bandage on, here we go. Just want to not have a bad infection, that would be nice.
