Day 2 of this years Interscolastics. Only had one screw-up in this race, on 5 where I took too much of a westerly bearing and cost me 2 or 3 minutes while I relocated and found out what I did and where I was. Other than that i had I really good navigation race, but part of that was due to me looking at my map every other step, I wasn't about to blow this race with a dumb error.

Interscolastics Day 1. The the long was simple, but required execution. I had a really good race going to 7 but I decided to turn south down hill too late, and didn't know exactly where I was, but I found 8 and re-attacked 7 and punched 8 and 9 crossed the spillway and had a difficult leg to 10, there was not much to go on and had to attack it 3 times before getting to 10 and lost a couple minutes there too. The last two controls were simple and finished.

The start of the Flying Pig this year, and the first two controls were good crossing the creek the first time, and I ran right past 3, had an okay middle of the race until I had a 5 minute mistake on 10, I crossed the creek again too soon, and assumed I was in the right spot, and took me a while to figure out I was closer to 14, not 10, crossed the creek a third time to 11 and once more to 13, and I didn't have to, but crossed the creek twice to 17, then just before 18, I lost my shoe, and finished without it, but I found it before I left.
