Note
(sick) (rest day)

Starting to feel sick, but it seems weird, fever and chills, but no sore throat, cough or nose problems. My body felt weak all day so obviously no running or anything for me

Orienteering race 1:27:00 [4] 6.0 mi (14:30 / mi)
shoes: Inov-8 Mudclaw

Big mistake on #5 I was in the right area, but couldn't see the control and by #10 my legs were just done and the hills killed me, other than 5 I was good navigationally, but I was really tired, didn't get a lot of sleep last night, and I was getting more and more sore Saturday which led to my legs not liking it

Stretching 10:00 [3]

Running race 11:35 [5] 3.2 km (3:37 / km)
shoes: Adidas Adizero Avanti

I was aiming for an 11:20 or below, but not too dissapointed with this time. On a 200 meter track means 16 laps, and I lost track of which one I was on. I was on pace for my goal, then somebody cut me off and kinda lost my rhythm and just didn't find it after that

Stretching 35:00 [3]

Before and after running

Thursday Mar 3, 2016 #

Running 30:00 [3] 3.0 mi (10:00 / mi)
shoes: Mizuno Wave Rider 19

We didn't do much running a) there's a meet tomorrow, b) we were throwing the tennis ball around in the gym for about half the time and c) coach had us trying on uniforms for the meet so three miles might be generous

Stretching 25:00 [3]

We did reaction time drill things after stretching, we were all on the line and had to go on one of the coach's clap, not the word "Go" or a whistle, or stomp, or some one else's clap. I learned I can actually beat all the sprinters off the line and stay in front of them for the length of a basketball court, which was surprising to me.

Stretching 30:00 [3]

Running warm up/down 30:00 [3] 4.0 mi (7:30 / mi)
shoes: Mizuno Wave Rider 19

10 minutes warm up, then during the cool down, we started running in the school, then we decided to go back to the fitness room and get on the stationary bikes, then ran some more, and then finished on the bikes

Running intervals 20:00 [3] 2.5 mi (8:00 / mi)
shoes: Mizuno Wave Rider 19

Treadmill intervals 8x1 minute with 30-45 seconds rest. Started the first one at 9.2 mph (I can't find what the pace is on the treadmills) then increased a half mph per interval until I got to 12 mph where it wouldn't go any faster

Yoga 40:00 [3]

Stretching 15:00 [3]

Running 1:00:00 [3] 7.5 mi (8:00 / mi)
shoes: Mizuno Enigma 5

We didn't feel like staying inside for an hour, so we decided to brave the storm and run at the park, we found 2 newly formed trails, which one led to a house (?) and another connected a road to a trail. Then we scaled a cliff, to the Old One Trail, a trail which is not maintained anymore and is difficult to find and follow. We ran that trail for a while until it dumped us back to the spillway, then headed for the vehicles.
