| For the end of December, it's pretty good that we actually got out in the Gats at all!!! We decided to go to Cité des Jeunes and create a permanent course. We didn't actually put anything out, we just kinda created the route in the truck and then went and did it fixing anything that wasn't going to work. Great woods when there aren't any leaves and some gigantic hills which are fun to climb. It was a bit chilly at first and one of my fingers was frozen, but other than that it was great since there was only about an inch of snow on the ground. |

| Did Carlington Hill 12 times which was the most that I've ever done it!!! Did a set of 4, then stretched, did 5 more, stretched, and the last 3 I did really fast. Leg, shins, and arm were hurting on the warmdown run back home, but feelin better now... :) |

| Did the longer river one all the way down to Woodroffe which was really nice!!! There was the most beautiful sunset ever and it was just spectacular running right beside the river!!! Just loved it! |

| Ran 3 sets of stairs and then did a pyramid up to 10 push ups followed by 3 sets of 30 sit ups, then we played against the senior girls volleyball team which was fun. The surprising thing was that we weren't totally skunked!!! They only beat us by 4 points the first game and7 points the next. And we're just the ski team!!! |

| Had to go to spinning all by myself this morning and we did some really long sprints and then an 11min hill!!! Crazy, but still fun. Did another really long hill but then I had to run off to get to band on time... |

| A really different dryland training today... we did 3min of skipping (which was really really boring) and then we did push ups in pyramid form and then some stairs and some more skipping!!! Followed by crunches and some more skipping and stairs! Woohoo!!! Pretty tired after all of that since I only got 5 1/2hrs of sleep last night!!! |

| In the weight room for gym this week if it doesn't snow cause then we'll go outside. Did a pull work-out today with a lot of dumb bells, sit-ups, leg curls (which were really painfull!!!) and rowing. Also snuck in about 7min of cardio on the treadmill. |

| 5min of that 39:35 was running to my friend's house afterwards but the other 34:35min was really intense!!! We went at a really good pace and did the river run in less than 35min which was sick!!! :P |

| Had an endurance class this week which was good because I wasn't feeling too good. I think I got our of bed too fast and felt nauseated so I kinda just sat on my floor for 5min till I felt better... Instructor said I was really focused though and I worked hard on my pedal stroke. |

| It was such an intense race for sure!!! Everybody did the same controls except in a different order, and you always had to be reading ahead because the numbers weren't like 1,2,3,4... they were like 12,3,20... really confusing!!! It was in the dark too and we just had the SI boxes so there wasn't a flag to look for!!! Great way to end the orienteering year though. |

| The personal trainer of one of our team mates came in and set up 20 stations for us to do 45sec each. It wasn't that tough because we only did each once. We finished off with 3 figure 8 loops of the stairs. The first time was just straight running, the second was jumping up, and the last one we had to skip 2 stairs. I schooled everybody on those stairs because I just powered in the hallways. Wish we could've run outside though... |

| Managed to get out for a run inbetween getting home from school and dinner. It was still really icy and my ears nearly froze off but it was still a lot of fun. Did a much faster pace than last time which was great and really tried hard it get it under 30min. |

| It was pretty cold and icy out, but I wanted to get away from my math homework so I went running despite the weather. In Hampton Park the path was pretty icy and that was nothing compared to the wind going down Island Park! That was the coldest and then running along the river. I meant to do a really slow easy run since my legs are pretty sore from strength and intervals, but I felt pretty great running/sliding along the ice, so I picked it up quite a bit there. Wasn't so bad running on the streets on the way back but I avoided to stairs up to Melbourne because I knew that my legs weren't going to like it. Amazing run, and now it's back to my math homework. |

| A grueling interval class this morning and now it's pretty hard to go up and down stairs, but it was still fun. Did a lot of sprints on flats and standing which was pretty hard!!! Did some pretty long hills too that I kinda took it easy on just to save my legs a little bit. |
