Saturday Dec 2

running 35:01 [2]
It was pretty cold and icy out, but I wanted to get away from my math homework so I went running despite the weather. In Hampton Park the path was pretty icy and that was nothing compared to the wind going down Island Park! That was the coldest and then running along the river. I meant to do a really slow easy run since my legs are pretty sore from strength and intervals, but I felt pretty great running/sliding along the ice, so I picked it up quite a bit there. Wasn't so bad running on the streets on the way back but I avoided to stairs up to Melbourne because I knew that my legs weren't going to like it. Amazing run, and now it's back to my math homework.

Friday Dec 1

cycling 55:00 [5]
A grueling interval class this morning and now it's pretty hard to go up and down stairs, but it was still fun. Did a lot of sprints on flats and standing which was pretty hard!!! Did some pretty long hills too that I kinda took it easy on just to save my legs a little bit.

Thursday Nov 30

X-country skiing 1:00:00 [4]
After the warm-up and stretch, we did a lot of strength training followed by a run in the rain!!! I really enjoyed it although some people didn't because they were wearing a short-sleeved t-shirt. They got really really cold!!! On the other hand, I had 2 long-sleeved shirt on and the rain helped me to not get too over-heated so I was feeling pretty good!!!

Wednesday Nov 29

cycling (endurance/hills) 50:00 [3]
Did the same sort of class as last Friday except that 1/2 way through, we switched to doing hills which was a nice change.

Monday Nov 27

X-country skiing (circuits) 50:00 [5]
Did circuits as usual... except this time instead of resting in between stations, we had to run the school circuit, or in otherwords 4 flights of stairs up and down!!! Very tiring!!! Only went throught the stations once but then we did a bunch of burpies. And the last few ones we did really really slow and the muscles in my arms were twitching like crazy!!! Pretty good work out though which is good.
