Saturday Jan 6

running 1:05:00 [3]
(injured)
Ran with Molly, well actually I ran and she biked, but anyways did the BIG river loop with her but it was really really windy. She had a head light with her, so she put it on over her helmet but it kept slipping off onto her nose, so she just kept it there. She looked exactly like Rudolph with a blinking nose!!! :)
running 39:03 [4]
(injured)
Ran to Dulude and watched part of the hockey game there, then ran up the hill and onto the bike path all the way down to Maitland. Very fast run back on a different loop that we don't normally do which was a change.
Note
Hip not so bad during the runs today, but I really felt it afterwards. A real bummer!!!

Friday Jan 5

strength 30:00 [4]
Same thing as yesterday
running warm up/down 40:11 [2]
(injured)
This time convinced Molly and our neighbour to come running and Molly got a cramp for the whole time so it was a tough run for her. My hip was really sore still from Carlton Hill which sucks but hopefully it will get better soon!!!

Thursday Jan 4

strength 35:18 [4]
Did 1min of whatever I could think off (i.e. push ups, sit ups, wall sits...) and then inbetween each one I "jumped" up the stairs twice.
running warm up/down 37:43 [2]
Did a really slow run down to the river just to cool off a bit and get out which was good.
running tempo 34:26 [4]
Wore my new shoes and it made such a difference it was so crazy!!! My knees didn't hurt at all even though during this morning's run they were really achey (achy???) Went running with my dad and my friend and because of my new amazing shoes I ended up going really really fast at the beginning. hehe... and practically killed my friend by the end... oops
Note
My training volume goal for this year is 350hrs so we'll see how that goes but it means an hour a day to get 7hrs a week. Should be fun!!! :P

Wednesday Jan 3

running long 1:35:00 [3]
Orienteered off a black and white 1:25000 topo map which was interesting but still a lot of fun. Ran through a lot of woods and when we ran across some atv trails we used them. Beautiful day with just the right temperature to be comfortable.
