X-country skiing 1:12:00 [2]
Skiied to the top of Pink Lake Hill and back again although it seemed harder. It was super cold and my face practically froze!!! I think I like skiing up hills more than skiing on flats. I don't know if it's the rhythm of going up of what, I just find it more fun.

Friday Jan 19

cycling (spinning/running) 55:00 [3]
slept:6.5
Had a mix it up class so we did some intervals and a 12min hill which was lots of fun. My resistance was really sensative, so if I turned the knob just a little bit, my hill would suddenly get a lot bigger!!! Had to get ready for school really really fast and then run to band in 20min!! Not easy I must say...
X-country skiing 1:25:30 [2]
Got back out to P3 after school and this time I skiied all the way to the top of Pink Lake Hill. That's a really really big hill!!!! Definitely getting better at this whole skate skiing thing and I have my first race on Sunday. Should be very interesting....

Thursday Jan 18

X-country skiing 1:00:00 [3]
Finally got out for an actual skate skiing which was soooo much fun. The coach gave me some really great advice about gliding and weight shifting which helped a lot. Hoping to get in 2hrs tomorrow at P3. Mostly flat but it does have some long hills.
C • Happpy Birthday! 4
Note
What was really nice was that I got to use my birthday/christmas present on my actualy birthday which was really special!!!

Tuesday Jan 16

Note
Not sure what my hour of training is going to be today, but I don't want to go running because it's pretty cold outside. I was kinda enjoying the warmer winter weather...

Monday Jan 15

running race (beep test) 10:00 [5]
Did our final beep test except with the gr 11 girls and in two shifts. I went second and made it to level 11 again. My knee and toes didn't hurt me too much, but I could still feel it. Sprinting to get to the other end to make it to level 11 was brutal and my legs were going numb!!! Not fun.
rock climbing 1:20:00 [4]
Went to the Coyote Rock Gym with the Venture's and did some pretty intense climbing. I did some really difficult climbs like the ones with either very few rock thingymadooers, or the really tiny ones. By the end, lifting up my waterbottle hurt!!!
X-country skiing 20:00 [1]
Finally got out skiing although not on any trails. It's called my backyard and street. Hehe, had to watch out for the cars, but it was still worthwhile since I kinda got the hang of it. Atleast it won't be totally new when I go with the team on Thursday which will by my birthday woohoo!!! :P
running 15:00 [3]
Had to run to ski practise because I was late and then we did 3 laps of stairs to warm up. Lots of fun... Practise was just playing dodgeball which doesn't really count but it was great because I could give my knee a rest!!!

Sunday Jan 14

orienteering 57:00 [3]***
spiked:12/12c weight:43.5kg (injured)
Did the permanent course again and took off 10min and I took a bunch of different route choices. Going to control 7 instead of going right through the re-entrants, I went around to the right along the side of the hill. Unfortunately, I ended up falling a banging my knee, both knees actually on a tree stump/rock. (Not really sure) Anyways, it actually cut the skin and I'm going to have a mighty fine bruise tomorrow morning when I go to ski training. Woohoo, wish me good luck getting out of bed...
