got an "ankle sock" that seems to really help, and I managed to flee from my sister up the stairs at the speed that I normally do except my mom says I should let it heal. I'm heading up to the cottage, and I really really really want to go running, so maybe I'll have to sneak out into the woods and toodle around in there :P

My knee and ankle were sore this morning when I got up, but thankfully skiing on it was ok aslong as I didn't turn or jerk it a certain way. Skiied back out to the parking lot, and then back along Lac Phillip with just the 4 kids while the adults drove the cars to P16. A really long ski, but it was sooo nice and I could actually get going pretty fast!!! Stopped for lunch at Herridge and then continued. Really nervous about the hills because I knew that a wipeout would be very painful. Fortunately, it was so warm and the snow was so slushy, it was hard to get any speed at all. So much for snow plowing!!! It seems that walking is way more painful that skiing, not sure why, but I just hope I'll be able to run on my leg soon!!!

Skiied into the cabin I think a total of 6km but 3km of it was terrible. We had taken this "short cut" to the trail and since it wasn't actually on a trail, turning the corner I fell. I had my big bag on so when I landed on my already bent leg, my kneecap popped out. Pretty sore after that but I put ice on it once we got to the cabin but I have a feeling it's going to be very sore tomorrow. I fell asleep on the bench and when I woke up my ankle was sore. I must've done something to it when I fell but I just didn't notice. A real bummer!!! Beautiful day though and the cabin is soooo cute!!!
