| warm up around track, some barrier practise, and stretching before steeplechase |
 | running race 5:48 [5]1.5 km (3:52 / km) vdot: 46.1 | |

| Man, there are some very big gr 12 girls in that race!!! It was an open race, so there are very few midgets (like me) that actually make it to EOSSAA. I didn't have high hopes on making it to OFSSAA, so I didn't push it too hard. It was a really fun race, and I didn't come last!!!! :P 10th out of 16!!! |
 | running race 5:11 [5]1.5 km (3:27 / km) vdot: 52.3 | |

| Such a sick race!!! Started out fast, and I wasn't sure if I could keep it up, but I did it, and got better!!! Took 12 sec off my last PB!!! Came 7th and almost beat the girl that won National Capital. I would''ve too, except she had more of a kick left. What was really crazy was the fact that the top 5 people were all within a second of eachother!!! Next year, though, I'm aiming for under 5 min!! |
 | running warm up/down 25:00 [1] | |
| |
| warm-up before 1500m, lots of running, and then stretching |
 | running race 1:05 [5]0.4 km (2:42 / km) | |
| |
| The 4x4 relay didn't go so well, but it's tough competition. Also, it was actually 5min after my 1500m race, but atleast I was all warmed up, I just had to catch my breath. |

 | ultimate 35:00 [1] | |

| Started a scrimage right away which was good because I had to leave a bit earlier since this morning was my last band rehearsal of this year!! |
Tuesday May 29 |
 | running (track) 1:00:00 [3] | |
| |
| Pretty tough track practise, I think we did 5 400m sprints...the last one I did with spikes for the first time, and it makes SUCH a difference!!! I was sooo much faster!! |
 | orienteering race 45:00 [3] | |
| |
| What a terrible race!!! I ran through stinging nettle, the map was really hard to read, including the control site, and therefore, I missed one of the controls, and had to do a huge detour in order to get 18!!! Had a really great route all planned out, except I didn't see control 22 which messed up my calculations. The burning in my legs didn't help either... |

 | orienteering 1:15:00 [2] | |

| Went back to Cité des Jeunes, and it was actually become a rain forest!!! I guess it is the Gatineau hills, but what a change from seeing pretty far, and then hardly being able to see 2m ahead!!! Even though I've done the permanent course quite a few times, everything seemed new!!! Just toodled around the bottom of the map, lots of rock features that were missed, so trying to find a boulder in a boulder field ended up being quite a challenge!!! ;-) |
