as soon as i rolled out of bed so that i would be awake by the time i got to english class to write my essay.
X-country skiing 1:20:00 [3]
Got picked up by my dad in the school parking lot so that we could make it to the park before the traffic got really bad... and it was amazing!!! i don't think we had to stop once after island park!! we made it to gamelin in record time!!
skied down to asticou... up the friggin big hill and on to pink lake... then we skied up the hill on the parkway since the trail up is classic only... but we did ski back down on that trail since it was pretty easy to double pole on the flats and the downhill was awesome!!!

Monday Jan 14

running intervals 22:00 [3]
Just a quick run around since i had to drop off my skis at my locker since walking to school with my trombone and a pair of skis would suck majorly!! got a few funny looks as i walked into school... but it was definitely worth it.
on the way home, sprinted a block, and then jogged the next, which was fine until i had to sprint up the hill on keenan.
X-country skiing (skate) 1:40:00 [3]
i never skied so hard, and so fast, for such a long period of time in my whole entire life!!! we stayed pretty much in the same area, but while we were waiting for the slower skiers to catch up, a few of us would do loops, or out and back routes to keep warm. then once the whole team came, we did this one loop at a race pace and it was hard enough to keep up with the competitive racers let alone go for a whole 20min!! Then after that, Paul, Hollis and I went the long way back to Relais Plein Air by going all the way to Asticou, right up that giant hill, then along back down the S-turn into the field cause our other planned route has roped off. Great ofsaa training though!!! :P
