Kew Woods, Southport. Thought it was time to give it a try. Complicated route with several small climbs to upset the rhythm. The only difference from yesterday's run is the shoes.

Bridges at a very gentle pace. Tried a bit extra on the loop, but nothing really happened. A week of over indulgence.

Southport. Pacing is difficult because the trees & bends make for a slower pace on the clock than reality, and it's only right at the end that you realise you're doing ok. And the start is really slow too - took 12s just to reach the line and then most of the first k stumbling past slower runners.
