9 AM

parkrun 32:24 [3] 5.1 km (6:21 / km) +54m 6:02 / km
shoes: Hoka Arahi 5

St Albans parkrun. Grassy & therfore a bit slippy - ought to use a more grippy shoe. Toddled round post-booster.
11 AM

Orienteering race 29:06 [3] 3.4 km (8:34 / km) +6m 8:29 / km
shoes: Innov8 Roclite 350

Ellenbrook Fields short Blue. Easy course but only did about ½ cos I needed to get back in time for Tom to run and I was tired & achy from the booster.

Orienteering race (Street-O) 59:38 [3] *** 6.9 km (8:39 / km) +121m 7:57 / km
spiked:15/17c shoes: Hoka Arahi 5

Lancaster Street-O. Lost contact at about 40min, wandered around for the next 10 trying & failing to make sense. Finally cut my losses & went the long dry round. Turns out I was pretty close but the map is confusing on Cumbria campus. Couldn't differentiate tarmac paths, and roads.

Tuesday Nov 2 #

Nomads, inc Bannister Lane, ie a lot of climb. Decent effort.
