Note

So tired. I'll update tomorrow

Hiking/Backpacking 35:00 [3]

The mountaineering boots gave me a mad bruise on my lower shin, so that was no fun....

Ice Climbing 4:30:00 [3]

Totally pitted. Everyone was comfortable with the equipment and the flow of the day so it was an amazing time to be out there =)

Stalk my facebook for pictures because I can't upload photos here...

******edit***** my AP has been outsourced to an undisclosed 2nd world country, so I now have pictures ;)

Hiking/Backpacking 1:30:00 [3]

Bruh.

This was a killer hike in today. 45 minutes hiking sideways in Mountaineering boots effing kills before you even climb!
Felt like I had about 743829147832190lbs of weight on my feet because of how awkwardly clunky the school's shoes are. For real they were deadly.

But you know what?

The whole time I kept reminding myself that: "I'm getting college credit for this"

So that's pretty baller.

Ice Climbing 3:00:00 [3]

Some people were late so we didn't leave campus until 8 (idk who those irresponsible people were but shame on them!)
...
Anyways, that meant that we had a shorter time on the wall *boo!*

Vocabulary I learned from today's climb:

SPORE (Stupid People On Rental Equipment)
Pitted (Another term for being stoked)
Salmon Fellatio ( A particularly hard crevasse to climb up)
Fackin' (A word you use when your instructions need to be heard)
Dude (Person climbing)
Bruh (Person Belaying)
Team Ovaries (Ladies who don't need no man)
Jack it (Hitting the ice with a lot of force with your pick)

Day two of three done!
It's currently 7:58, and I say that it's time for some sleep =)
