But like... a really really REALLY lax one hour at the model event!

Didn't KT Tape before going, so I worked on foot work on narrow/icy trails (Plus Map Reading)

I'm actually really pleased with the mapping/area! =)

Went to my first ever coach's meeting!

Needless to say... I now understand why Cristina and Erin come back afterwards looking very... exasperated....

"So the start procedure, five beeps, person lifts their hand off of your shoulder, and you cross the start line, your sport ID begins when you cross the line"
"But you loose 1 second from when the person lifts their hand"
"Also, some athletes will try to start earlier and push past the hand"

Meanwhile, the German coach and I were laughing our butts off in the back at how worked up some... er... Scandinavian countries were behaving..

Also: Apparently, Quarantine is either 1) Very stupid and unnecessary, or, 2) has to be a four hour procedure, to make sure that the Youth skiers don't give out information to the European World Cup racers..

I'm ready for the Sprint tomorrow! =D

Spent the rest of the night getting up and dry heaving.

This morning not only does my tummy hurt, but my ribs as well =(

After this trip I'm totally going to take a break from serious activity... that is until I have to start training again *sigh*

Can my body just cooperate for once in its life? Sheesh

Again went for a morning run in South Park.

I swear to god I'm in the process of developing lung cancer because EVERYONE HERE SMOKES CIGARETTES AND THEN BLOWS IT IN MY FACE AND UGHHH ITS SO NASTY!!!!

(I also think that my upset stomach is due to the amount of cigarettes I encountered today)

Note to self: Bring my breathing respirator for further runs in the city

So the initial plan for when I got to Bulgaria was that I would travel up to the mountains and go skiing until Friday, then leave for Austria on Saturday morning.... well it turns out the mama earth is being moody over here as well so that plan had to be cancelled on account of no skiable snow... heavy rains..and 12°C conditions...

Ran in the south park for a post travel cool down
