XC Skiing 2:10:00 [3]

Hallo!!!
Training with the Swiss ski o team*
(Double polled while they did their training, only 16km of tracks here! Kinda funny how I left Craftsbury for this ;) )
Even in the very very isolated valley of Goms, I met people from Boston.
"Oh, ski orienteer... and an american? Do you know Alex Jospe!? She was my son's coach!"
(A very warm hello from Cooper Hartman (heardmann? Windy day, couldn't really hear the last name well)

Drills 42:00 [4]

Not really drills but we did circuit stuff.
Leg raises, Russian twists with partner and balls, mountain mans, grab and move and ball while in push up position, etc.

Hiking/Backpacking 3:50:00 [3]

Hiking with Lars' family while him and his brother ran around the mountain. We met at the top and had a very lovely picnic =)

Rock Climbing 3:00:00 [3]

(We actually went bouldering)
Not only was it a green Christmas here in Switzerland, but apparently the local climbing gym was open on christmas day... weird, but appreciated.
Started out with just monkeying around, but then played this game with Lars' three cousins where you climb a route, but the next person who does it, has to get rid of one feature. We would do this until there were 3-4 left/impossible to climb up anymore, then moved on to another place on the huuuuge wall.
Wanted to stay longer but had to go attend a Christmas dinner... darn....

Biking 1:10:00 [3] 24.0 km (2:55 / km) +400m 2:42 / km

Biked behind Lars while he went roller skiing!
(He was faster up the hills, I was faster down the hills)
It's amazing how every road here is perfectly paved!! If only this could happen in Vermont...
