Hike up Mt. Mansfield to Taft lodge starting at 6pm.

I tell you, night hiking in the green mountains is absolutely beautiful! The light from my headlamp would catch on pieces of schist and make my pathway twinkle!

The people staying at the camp were really chill folks, I regret not getting out there more often/earlier in the season..

For months now, Lars has been low-key complaining about how old my salomon running shoes are, which is true, yeah they're old, and I've tried ordering a new pair but that didn't really go as planned. So I decided that since ski season is right around the corner, I'd wait till the Spring to start my search again.

Well, I get home from classes today to find a box on the kitchen table addressed to me..... he ordered these Swiss company shoes called "on cloud".

So naturally I was obligated to go for a run!
Even saw Susan Dunklee on her roller skis, it was nice to see that my shoes matched an Olympian's shorts =)

Other people were in the gym which makes the night work outs pretty fun.

The girl at the barbell station was killing the squats with ~80lbs. So I was surprised to see her add ~220lbs, that was until she took out her phone and took pictures of it.. Niceee.
