Trek race 5:30:00 [3] 12.0 mi (27:30 / mi)

Pinckney Orienteering section.
Trail to briar patch to swamp to flag to swamp to briar patch to trail. Repeat 10 more times. Short 'swim' to the last control.

See Joe
7 AM

Trek race 1:30:00 [3] 5.0 mi (18:00 / mi)

Trek to paddle. Pretty straight forward section after a bit of power line bushwhacking.
8 AM

Paddle - canoe 2:00:00 [3] 10.0 mi (12:00 / mi)

Great river paddle on the Huron. Infiterra always does a great job at this.
10 AM

Dirt and road ride to the finish. Greeted by our support crew at the door. Nice!

Paddle - canoe race 3:15:00 [3] 13.0 mi (15:00 / mi)

Adventure Rage 28 Hr Race
Ann Arbor MI

Started in the first wave because we had the least accumulated time of the 4 person teams.

Paddle on a few interconnected lakes. No great time gains or losses as these yellow battleships seem to go only one speed.
12 PM

Mtn Bike race 1:15:00 [4] 14.0 mi (5:21 / mi)

Came off the paddle and we have a support crew! First supported race for me in quite awhile.

Dawn and Heather did a fantastic job of getting us on the road and keeping us moving for the next 24 hours.

Mostly dirt roads highlighted by a "trail" though a field which was nothing more than a path where someone else had gone. Jen flatted on the road to the the next TA.
1 PM

Trail run 4:15:00 [3] 14.0 mi (18:13 / mi)

Orienteering at Waterloo. FnJoe's navigating is on FIRE! unfortunately so are his legs. He starts the cramping cycle that I am so aware of. Hands, inner thighs, calves, quads...eyelids
5 PM

Mtn Bike race 2:00:00 [3] 10.0 mi (12:00 / mi)

Trail and dirt roads to the bonus trek section. Push, pull and drag our cramping teammate while repeating the new team mantra.
7 PM

Trek race 2:00:00 [3] 3.0 mi (40:00 / mi)

Hike in bike shoes to 3 hilltops protected by swamps, pickers and deer flies.
9 PM

Mtn Bike race 3:15:00 [3] 18.0 mi (10:50 / mi)

Powotitami trail. Awesome singletrack ride. The team is cranking here and nothing can stand in our way ha ha ....except for a pair of young skunks which hold us up for a few minutes as they refuse to leave the trail (not that I blame them having spent a good part of the day off trail).

Other race (Climbing wall) 2:04 [4] 0.0 mi

Adventure Rage Prologue

Planet Rock climbing gym.
I was very nervous to start the climb as I have never been on a climbing wall and did not know if I could get to the top.

Road Bike 35:00 [3] 9.0 mi (3:53 / mi)

Mtn bike test ride out and back on Rt 87.
