Was going to start conservatively given course length and current fitness, so the mile long uphill climb was both a help in slowing the legs down and a hinderence in making me push just to keep going up the steepest part.
Navigation straightforward apart from one wobble, was fairly happy with miles 3-7 all being under 7 min miling, but still not fully up to normal pace.
