Northern XC - 141st
Steady start, but not displeased with first mile, though it did go on a while.
But then we hit the stickt stuff and I lost all rhythm and momentum and struggled my way to the top of the long drag. Telling myself to enjoy it whilst bracing myself for a long ride home.
But then the downhill got my legs going and I was much better 2nd lap, helped by the fact everyone was going equally slowly through the gloop, in fact some where going backwards, must have gained 25odd places in the last 2 miles.
Overall an enjoyable course and venue, of course it was tough, it was XC.
