Bingley urban - 3rd

Pace not quite there, but effort was, a bit jaded.

Lost a lot of time to #10, planned to take 2nd path on left, didn't see first, assumed 2nd was the first and kept running, only when I ended up next to some houses did I realised and had to go back up to relocate, which was stupid in itself.
Made a last minute decision to continue past #11 and then S to #12, this was a bonkers thing to do.
Bit of a faff in the locks for #14, not sure what the olive green to the E of the lock gates is meant to signify.
Climb to #16 was horrible! But did a good route via the back to the station to #18 so pleased with that.
Changed my mind to #21 and instead of going through complex estate went past #24 and up steps, think original plan was best.
Alright, if slow to #25, but took another mad route back out to road and round to #26
Tired mistakes to and from 28 missing the best route keeping things too simple.

Armley parkrun - 3rd, 17.26

Once I saw Chris Smith was here decided to go steady, set off accordingly and legs didn't feel great anyway, was about 10th after 500m. Started to feel better and the competitive streak got the better of me, got through to 3rd but couldn't quite catch 2nd.
Probably a better run that thought at the time. Very warm. Not sure that climb count is right.

Massively overshot #1 which was massively stupid
Should have kept to the right of the bushes, went left, and when the gap on the right wasn't obvious, kept running uphill until I found one, then turned left uphill even move. It was only 2 contours up from the path!
Didn't bother pushing too hard after that, no real mistakes other than changing my mind to #17 which was probably not ideal.
Also missed the crossable section of wall.

These climb figures seem very dodgy

Myrtle park chasing sprint - 4th

Amazingly, held it together on my own through the woods, and was shocked to see coming out of 10 I had got my minute back and more and got ahead of Tom, then sped up on the open as he was chasing me down.
Decided to go via 19 to 16, then completely ballsed up by turning left out of the trees when all I needed to go was straight on. Couldn't work out why there was no path ahead of me and eventually went round the other bowling greens.
Monumental cock up
Though not as bad at Tom who still ended up behind me despite me virtually walking in and somehow not remembering the oft-used control site that was #17

Sunderland 5k - 16.14

Frustrating - 4.57 first mile, 5.14 second mile, thought the sub 16 was on, especially when watch read 12.45 at 4k. Next time I looked though it had ticked over 15 and I thought I was too far away from the finish, and so it proved, watch read 5.07 at end, though I'm sure the course is accurate. I was on my last legs anyway, didn't quite take advantage of the downhill just after 4k so should really have been 16.0x something

Onto Sale next week.
