Bassendean ride.

Metro Series race at Swanbourne - around the Lake, with 4 to go was level with Chip and probably had his measure running-wise. But then I picked the wrong last 4 controls. Approach to 9 from the North was unfair; the track shown on the map was actually someone's driveway so went past and after 100m had to bush-bash, then backtrack, and finally the control was much closer for people coming from the road to the South. Wasted about a minute here, but recovered more quickly then Ron Marcus who had been running more strongly than me. Had to tackle a hill to 10, then another one to 20, so lost another half-minute to Chip who had made a better choice of the last 4.
