Orienteering race 49:21 [5] *** 5.8 km (8:31 / km)
spiked:11/16c shoes: Inov8 Mudclaw 330

Badge event at Gunapin Ridge, 6.64km on the 305. A few small mistakes, and one of 2 minutes on a misplaced control (133). Quite pleased with the run, and good to stretch out through the clearings and bare rock in the grazed area.

Running 49:22 [3] 8.8 km (5:37 / km)
shoes: Asics GT 2150

Bridges & Heirisson Sth, actually still light when I got to the Island, but didn't see any kangaroos.

Running 38:10 [3] 6.86 km (5:34 / km)
shoes: Asics GT 2150

2 laps of Yokine Reserve at recovery pace.

Note

Entries for Tyrol 6 Days have closed with over 1500 entries. M60 is the 2nd largest class with 83 (M45 - 86). Don't recognise more than 1 or 2 of the names as being WMOC guns, so my goal will be top 10 (would have been top 6 if I'd had the opportunity to get fitter).

Running 35:59 [3] 6.65 km (5:25 / km)
shoes: Asics GT 2150

Short Kings Park lap. Reason for not doing the long was a blister from my mtb shoes after running a school session at Whiteman Park earlier today. Rode about 5km putting out controls, then a further 6-7km during the session checking the students were doing ok, or searching for overdue ones. It was fairly easy to spot them today as they were all wearing the hijab (40 girls from an Islamic school).

Must get some new mtb shoes.
