Road cycling 1:22:53 [3] 32.76 km (2:32 / km)
shoes: Bike: Bianchi Coast to Coast

Bassendean ride.

Orienteering race 44:49 [4] 2.9 km (15:27 / km)
shoes: Inov-8 Oroc 280

State Middle Champs 4.68km. All fine except for huge parallel error resulting in off the map experience - 16-17 mins lost. Can't say much else until we get the maps back tomorrow.

Note: see Routegadget for story of No. 4. Won all the other splits.

Running 39:08 [3] 6.8 km (5:45 / km)
shoes: Asics GT 2150 New

East Perth to Heirisson. Didn't want to do the boring detour around the North side of Windan Bridge so just stayed on the WACA side of the river down to Heirisson, around the Southern part of the Island and back. Saw 5 kangaroos grazing by the side of the path, looked hard but couldn't see the 6th one. Rib not as bad but could still feel a twinge now and then.

Running 44:42 [4] 7.9 km (5:39 / km)
shoes: Asics GT 2150 New

Kings Park long lap. Rib quite sore tonight so not fully recovered yet.

Event: Yetar Spring

Orienteering race 1:05:45 [3] 6.3 km (10:26 / km)
shoes: Inov8 Mudclaw 330

H3 course at Yetar Springs, fairly close to straight (GPS 7.14km). Not pushing pace as rib still sore occasionally, just using the course as a) building fitness for Around the Bay and b) O training for states and nationals. Hit every control spot on except 5 which was the toughest (physically, not navigatioanlly) leg on the course, and was misplaced (or mismapped?). Lost about 2 mins in the circle, although splits show ShotRat with an impossible time almost 6 mins quicker on the leg.
