Road cycling 2:23:00 [3] 54.2 km (2:38 / km)
shoes: Bike: Beemer Auto

Bassendean ride, then back around Rivervale, Ascot Waters and across the river to do another half-lap of the Basso route. Strong SWly.

Wednesday Sep 30 #

Road cycling 2:25:00 [3] 55.5 km (2:37 / km)
shoes: Bike: Beemer Auto

Around the river incl. Mt Henry. Freeway path open again, only noticeable difference were short white line strips just south of the Cale St footbridge - but that bit wasn't in the section closed all last week!

Monday Sep 28 #

Orienteering 45:00 [3] 3.0 km (15:00 / km)

Checking the E/VE controls and the remaining M and H ones.

People seemed pretty happy with the courses, hope a few more people will upload their routes for TBT.

Sunday Sep 27 #

Orienteering race 33:28 [3] 3.4 km (9:51 / km)
ahr:126 max:163 shoes: Inov8 Arctic Claw

WA Middle Distance Champs at Foxes Lair, gps 3.84kms). A clean run for a change, was never pushing the pace though, with potential to experience breathing problems in this sort of race. Enough to take the win in M70 in a close race, and only 40 secs off the best M65.

Took the road option to 2, and after that went pretty direct and was able to read the key features well.

Orienteering 3:00:00 [3] 8.0 km (22:30 / km)

Putting out 8 controls, then checking the ones put out by SWOT - all the H and most of the M controls.
