indoor warmup, outdoor drills and light strides. compression bandage and icyhot massage before, icepack after. Its still stiff and a little sore near the lower insertion, but not that involved in a normal stride. I think if i start out w a tempo viewpoint tomorrow, the hs will be fine.

jog in house, some warmup stretches and drills and massage w icy hot afterwards. Went well, may be able to run frostbite on saturday. huge difference between 5k and slower pace and mile pace with these hamstring things, for me anyway.

squat, sumo, bridges, plank -s, superman, light upper. only felt hamstring on single leg lifts from bridge - tight and stiff...

group track workout, but only one other person was there. Not enough warmup i think, did one 200,43 - one 400, 1:29. then 3/4 around the 1st lap of 800, hamstring pinged and stepped off the track immediately. Not bad, but stopping was the right thing to do.

hurdle drills, lunges, jumps, sideways squats and pushups

a couple of paced 15 minute intervals throughout the day. easy jog if done right circumvents the hamstring strain. some more easy jog and stairs.

1 x pushups, salute to the sun, hip flexor lunges, 2 x light upper body routine which was very difficult (considering that it should be very easy), guess things dont take long to atrophy

what is it? 66 degrees? birds and buds are not the only one affected by the unseasonal heat. wilmore, home for water, recplex, back. 95% grass. nice steady-state run.
had stashed a water bottle in a small tree - not that obvious. when I came back from that loop it was gone. Then I saw it on the gravel track about 20 meters away....and it was empty! Somebody found it, drank it and threw it over there. Must have been really thirsty.

800M TT on track. 58 degrees, w/9mph east wind. I felt ok, given my high anxiety and self-doubt prior. Felt like I really could have gone faster esp. in the middle 2 - 200's, and hit the 2:45 goal.
