had a real hard time sleeping and then heard intermittent rain/snow noises. changed into my rain gear inside bivy sack (do not recommend) broke camp and got off mounttain in dark, freezing hands and feet thawed after a while. fun! ha ha

playing in boulder field below cliff along the way. not really 'bouldering' just moving on rock and a lot of fun.

up to gorgeous mountain landscape at macy lakes in hope of continueing up mountain valley and peak next day. foiled. my apprenticeship in the Sangre de Christo continues.

8 x 200 w 3 min rest @ blue collar dust/dirt/mud puddle cinder track in pueblo. kind of fun. 42,43,43,42,42,42,41,41
except my achilles hurt. low drop on takumi sen shoes did not help.
not pretty but got it done. need to do more speedwork. seems to be some carryover from last altitude visit a month ago. 4700'
