4 x 800 w/ 3R, quite a bit slower than the modest 3:15 target time and I only did 4 insstead of 6... my mechanics and speed are still off prob. due to collarbone and surge in mileage. 3:22, 3:18, 3:20, 3:16.

what a diff a rest day makes??? an igloi/johnny gray/khadevius robinson inspired fartlek speed workout based on paces and form, all on short grass in a light drizzle. They call the paces easy, fresh, good swing(T?) and good speed (R), and emphasize forward leg llift and upright carriage.

The really remarkable thing was that I was able to embed the equiv. of 3 sets of 200, 200, 400 in over an hour of continuous running without the usual walking or shuffling. ACTUALLY this was one of the BEST RUNS of my LIFE. But then I often think that and nothing comes of it.
