Done! 3 x 1300+/- w/ 1R in 5:38, 5:42, 5:44 on cross country park terrain. (3 pavilions) Tough, but was able to maintain decent pace. Maybe 200's later in day?
Caught myself trying to run 'hard' a few times, let it go and then actually ran better. Big difference. Bingo!
Warmup in lindenwood college belleville gym and strides outside. warm enough that i could have just stayed outside.

So want to say this was a tempo mile but it was a race. So I still have good speed at 400, but at 800 a ton of bricks falls on my back. I can train out of this though, so....

....I need more long intervals and tempo pace runs, therefore drove to a nearby park and did 3 x 4:30 intervals at tempoish pace. whatever that is these days. w/ 1 min rest.

stopped by upper limits downtown on way back...could tell i hadn't been to the gym for many weeks, my forearms were destroyed in short order. not sure I'm going to renew my membership, since i dont know how much I'll be able to/want to climb. Prob go w the punch passes.
