personal triumph: in a corner I'd been stuck in before, reversed to face out from wall, leaned to one side to get hold that was really designed to hold from other side and gingerly swung around so I was on the slab of the adjacent wall, facing it. Well, I guess you had to be there. spent a good bit of time belaying which I enjoy, partly for the learning op.
good litttle run where i did some easy strides up a gradual uphill on a paved cemetery road. Shying away from grass because I have been suffering fr stealth chigger attacks. settled into a nice groove towards the end.
time trial 1200 at webster track. cooler but still humid. goal was 6m pace, but the 2nd q slowed so we hit 4:36. not too worried about it. Second quarter at Macklind is the big push though, so I have to be sure to shift gears there.
Then 4 x 200 w 2R @38, 41, 42, 39 while B. zoomed off at 36, 32, 30, 30. Now I know what it feels like to be chasing a 4 minute miler:)
