running 1:50:00 [3]
shoes: adidas adizero xt trail

brommelsiek 5.2 trail race. Took me 49 minutes, I think, which seems slow, but 'tempo run' was my mantra. I hope I was running hard enough tho because the cold definetely puts a crimp in my style. 15 warmup, race, 15 cooldown w/ 6 strides...and then, another half hour of mucky thawing trail later when i came back to look for the id cards i thought i had lost. turns out it was at home on my desk (long story).

running 1:06:00 intensity: (20:00 @2) + (26:00 @3) + (20:00 @4)
shoes: adios boost 3 v.4

Grants Trail from Orlando w BRRG. warmup, then 20 min of 'tempo' w 7:30 pace group, and head back. Colder than anticipated, i think that stiffened my legs.

Wish I'd thought of doing this earlier...a paced group for tempo company (even if was an easy and much longer run for them), awesome, and nobody seemed to mind too much, though they were probably relieved when the incongruous panting ended... Pace group leader was the second place finisher in the Frostbite half marathon!
4 PM

biking 30:00 [2]
shoes: bike - ritchey breakaway
