running (bdb track) 1:00:00 [4]
shoes: adios boost 3 v.4

did progressive strides: jog, run, fast run, sprint. incorporated short stride, butt kick, circle motion, arm drive in sprints. So ironic, remembering that I was dead last in my 7th grade gym class hundred yard dash. Not that I'm a sprinter, just an amusing contrast. Where were the adults and mentors - I dont remember any. I guess you just did what you could and if you couldn't...good luck.

8 x 400. Breathing kind of bottomed out after the first 200, so could tell that these were past due. 2R total w/30s walk for the first 4, 3R total w 1R walking for the next 2, and 3R walking for the last 2! 1:32, 1:37, 1:34, 1:34, 1:34, 1:32, 1:31, 1:31

along wilmore park, w 3 1k segments @7:25ish pace with several minutes jogging between thrown in. Don't really know what that was about, but I was running, and thats all that mattered to me this morning.

running (local streets n alleys) 30:00 [2]
shoes: hoka challenger atx

another 'easy'run but very humid, and adjusting to the stride mechanics of the hoka is always a challenge even though probably good muscle 'cross-training'

Note

Hokas put extra stress on hamstrings, I've noticed. Not sure why that is.
