cont. of last nights workout, really. 20 wu w drills and short strides, then 4 x 300ish (2 laps) w 2R, 1:08, 1:13, 1:09, 1:10. then 'progressive' run on treadmill which lasted only 8 minutes and topped out at 9mm!

usual gym weight stuff, but did some single leg presses at about 100#, and noticed that left leg, contrary to all expectations, seemed to be stronger. unless right leg was more tired from left turns in the squirrel cage?May need to repeat experiment sometime pre-run.

BRRRG marathon/half 'speedwork'. 4 x 800 w a 400 jog in between on the perimeter sidewalks of the park. One had a good downhill at the end of it, the other a steep hill at the beginning, so while I'm not sure about the accuracy of the distances, they balanced each other out. I've got a loooong way to go, but still cautiously optimistic that if I do the training, the success will slooowly come . 3:38, 3:43, 3:45, 3:51.

to metro and back. almost went back out after a change of shoes, but I had a good run, cost didn't seem to equal benefit. what do I know, maybe just lazy.
