ahr:187 max:213 slept:8.0

Missed last control and didn't take enough time to check map when looking for it so what should have taken 30 seconds took 6.5 minutes. Slow down.

I noted extreme heart rate even though Charlie advised that the reading was not correct. Next time I'll check manually to be sure.

Orienteering race 23:33 [5] 1.7 mi (13:51 / mi) +60m 12:29 / mi

Didn't measure heart rate this time so can't say for sure that lack of sensor contact was the reason for the high reading on course B.

No mistakes locating controls this time but cv fitness is still poor. I'll keep working on it and perhaps by the fall I'll be a little more fit. Lets see.

Jogged down hill avoiding cracks in sidewalk hoping to simulate avoiding fallen branches trees and holes in the ground.

Steady but pushing a little. Felt like a good workout. Testing hr monitor and seems easy to use and works well.

Another muggy day but put a short sleeve shirt on and glad it didn't rain. Keeping pace steady but up and down science hill twice gives the hr a nice workout.

Keeping the pace steady at just over 7 mph. Doesnt feel as good a workout as when I vary speed.

Tried a 4 mile course I had mapped. The pace seemed pretty steady but I had worked up quite a sweat. Pretty muggy outside so that could explain it. Wish I had more time to go further though.
