Sunday Oct 7

orienteering race 1:32:08 [3]**** 6.6 km (13:58 / km)
(injured) shoes: Jalas hi-top O' shoes
Ontario Championships - Long Course. I think I was 2nd in M 45+ (final results not posted yet). I still felt the ankle I had injured the day before and was a little slow because of it.

Long Course 6 - Splits

Saturday Oct 6

Event: Ontario Champs

orienteering race 45:06 [4]**** 3.4 km (13:16 / km)
12c shoes: Jalas hi-top O' shoes
Ontario Championships - Middle Distance - 1st place on Course 6 and M 45+
orienteering 20:00 [5]*** 2.5 km (8:00 / km)
13c (injured) shoes: Icebugs
Ontario Champs - Sprint. DNF (ankle). Overshot 1 and 4, a little sloppy on 2. After 4, settled into a pretty good race until I sprained an ankle going into #12 (of 17). Thus hobbled, and being very close to the finish, it was not worth inflicting further pain and injury by continuing to the remaining controls.
