Saturday Dec 29, 2007 #

trail running 27:15 [3] 2.7 mi (10:06 / mi)
weight:159lbs shoes: Icebugs

Miami Univ. Natural Areas - once around Pine and East loops. Throat was just barely noticeably sore this morning, so I decided not to do the 5 hour round-trip drive to do the rogaine training session at Chillicothe. One more really light day & hope that I've prevented a cold from taking hold... we'll see.

Friday Dec 28, 2007 #

trail running 15:00 [3] 2.5 km (6:00 / km)
weight:159lbs (rest day) shoes: Sala Runner 2

Hueston Woods. Night run. Visited a few of the night-O controls. Estimate 85% trail, 10% road, 5% terrain. Had another slight sore throat again this morning, so again felt I should take it easy for the day.
Handled registration and timing for the Night O'. No controls to pick up since we used the new permanent course. The posts are very reflective and under these conditions, with a decent light, they are easier to spot from much farther away than in the daytime!
