warm-up and cool-down. Walked about 600 m before the race & put out the directional signs at the park entrance. Did a 300 m light jog / trail run after sprint #2 to recover a hat knocked off late in the race by a low branch.

various lawn & garden, etc: cleaning control stands, cutting honeysuckle, planting a tree. burned part of my prairie area & added some native prairie seed mix to some bare areas plus another small segment of formerly mowed lawn.

shovelling. topsoil, seed & straw at one of the Pig event sites, then leftover topsoil in my garden. replaced a tree that died in last summer's drought.

walk-thru inspection of finish area and final few control sites at Rentschler, picked up some non-orienteer trash. Some "elephant tracks" thru the final few controls, but I expect they'll disappear in the next couple weeks as spring vegetation growth takes off.
