2 hour Score-O at Southwestway Park in Indianapolis. Steady rain and 45 degrees (7 C). 31 controls were worth from 3 to 6 points each, and there was a 5 point bonus for each of 4 dog-bone combinations.

I had given depot a line-O map to pick up the controls from yesterday's practice. When I got to the park, his truck was in the lot but he was still in the woods, so I started a map memory run backwards on the line. Soon found him, picking up the last control, and we jogged back to the parking lot together.

picked up the 4 most visible controls from Union County O' Practice as darkness fell on the forest.
13 kids showed up at practice, but there were only 10 seats available in vehicles. So we didn't leave school. Bummer. These kids are way too squirrely for orienteering board games - I will definitely have to always have very physically active backup activities for any day that we aren't able to get to the park!
