Crisp this morning at 5:30am and still dark for the first half so I ran it with a headlamp. Really felt good today with the cool weather and pushed the pace up both big hills. PR by a good 5-6 minutes today with more in the tank at the end - looking good to get my 1:15 this year at some point.

Hill repeats at No. 14. x6

A group of kids were stuck on the hill with a broken derailleur hanger. Offered to help but they seemed intent on fixing it themselves...and with no tools. Halfway through my repeats I stopped again because they were in the middle of trying to break the chain by smashing it between two rocks (so I admire their creativity at least). I helped them break the chain with a tool then had to cut the cable to detatch the derailleur so they could walk it home. An eventful ride!

Sunday morning ride up Etobicoke creek. RB broke a spoke, somehow? Never seen that before?

Amazing trails and right outside his front door in Mimico. Awesome. Love trailforks for that - just shows you where to look.
