Biking 1:00:10 [4]
shoes: Pearl Izumi X-Alp Canyon

The Gorby

Started out at 310w which is Rx for my ftp but quickly dropped it to 295w.

295w was much more manageable.

Running 1:25:02 [3] 11.37 km (7:29 / km) +321m 6:33 / km
shoes: Brooks Cascadia 13 GTX

EXPECTATION: I was hoping with the snow mostly gone and a bit of a cold spell that the mud would be frozen and the trails would be clear.

REALITY: The east side was still pretty muddy, all the downhills had to be walked. Also the big climb by the waterfall was one big ice sheet. It was treacherous.

Doesn't matter though. It's the best run on the list no matter what the conditions are like.

Gonna be happy to get through Franuary. Even on week 5 of this I'm still getting sore for 2 days after the thrusters. Just not worth it. I've missed 8 workouts in January (2 sick, 3 lazy, 3 on purpose) compared to 4 in December and 3 in November.

Biking 42:17 [4]

Destroyed again by a hunter's challenge workout. Nowhere near enough gas to get through.

I'm going to have to start taking down the ftp settings when I'm doing any of those workouts up over 1hr.
