| Summer series at campbell park - i had forgotten how good visibility it is in australian orienteering - made the course a bit of a cross country running race. Cruised around with a few very small mistakes, fun to orienteer again though. (includes 5min warming up). |

| Ran with Grant in the arvo up to the circumcision track on black mtn - we reminisced about the the old summer series days when grant used to throw the punches. So nice to run in new shoes. |

| Finally getting rid of the cold and getting organised a bit with a car and some furniture. Rode over to check out the 24hr race and rode a lap then back to he city for a coffee with Al and Max. Was stuffed after this - Al even commented that i looked in a bad way. |

| Was going to run intervals with ok linne but when i started to run to the clubhouse it was raining and about 2 degrees - jeez it was cold, prob would have turned around on the spot if i didnt have to drop of something there. When i got to the clubhouse i had already decided i was going straight home but then Mats pointed out that it was my last chance to run in some really horrible swedish weather - amazingly this made me a bit nostalgic and i decided i would run but after 15 more min of warming up i was even colder and just couldnt be stuffed doing a long intervals session so i ran home with lars - was totally frozen when i got home despite having on a thermal, tights, jacket gloves and a beanie. Must be time to go home. |

| Easy jog with Boris in the evening, he had a lot more energy than me but it was good to get out for a run after another busy day where we didnt get much done. |

| Club training tonight was a 10k test on the track, i had been out in stockholm all day getting Max his passport so i went to the training just intending to go for a warm jog really. Once i got there i decided i might as well run fast for a bit so i started out running with jan and ulf troeng thinking maybe i would do 5k or 3k. After 5k i felt quite good and we did it in 16.46 which i didnt think was too good for 5k so i thought i'd keep going a bit more. When it was only 5 laps to go i thought i may as well do the whole 10k since i still felt fine, in the end it was a pretty decent time for a spur of the moment effort. Felt surprisingly good on the way home too, didnt even have sore calves although i'm sure i will tomorrow. |

| 25manna relay - ran 2nd last for malung, not super prepared for this race but we were going really well, 1st after the two open legs and 39th when i went out (we were 122 last year) so i even had a few nerves which was fun to feel again. The orienteering went well, it was pretty easy terrain but i had a good rhythm also and eventually i started picking off a few guys and then caught a big pack near the end and came in 30th. Prob missed 2min maximum and 6min behind Jonasson n.t.b considering what orienteeing i have done lately.
On the last leg we had a 14yr old who is a very good runner(Michaela Hallqvist, Håkan Erikssons daughter) up against the open girls, she went out with Camilla Berglund WC top 10 and managed to hang on to her for half the course then outsprinted a heap of others to bring us in 27th, great day.
Also won the bet i had with TQ over whose team would be best, i let him off the coffee and bulle since his his team was dsq, would have been close otherwise. |

| Decided to go out and do a bit more orienteering in nåsten since last night wasnt such great training. Again i left it a bit late but at least it was light for the first 55min or so and i went along pretty well but not fast, also realised at the furthest point that i had made the course a bit long and it was going to be a bit of a longer run than i planned the night before 25manna - not that it will really make any difference. It will be fun to go to a race again tomorrow. |

| After a super busy day at the embassy in stockholm trying to sort out Max's passport (thanks to german mail losing all our official documents) i decided to try and make it to ok linnes 25manna training. I got there late and headed out by myself. Unfortunately it was getting pretty dark by the time i started and by the time i was out into nåsten it was really quite dark so it turned into almost night orienteering without a headlamp, quite fun racing the light back to the clubhouse anyway.

| When out for an easy jog in the evening to de-stress from a day of dealing with frustrating bureaucracy. Didn't feel great running, stopped at the supermarket on the way home since we needed milk and ended up getting chips and ice cream - checked one more time just to be certain they dont have salt and vinegar chips here... they dont. |

| 10 x 3min hard 1min easy. Intervals with OK Linne, a pretty big group tonight which was good since there was always someone just in front and behind. I didnt run really hard in the beginning but picked it up a bit as the session went on and it was hard enough to be pretty sore in the calves and guts by the end of it. I am definately enjoying training a lot more at the moment without any pressure on myself. |

| Warming up and down plus between the intervals, it was properly dark by the end of the training just after 7pm, winter is on its way!
Also cant believe how little coverage there has been on Gebreselassies marathon world record in berlin on the weekend, 2.04.26 i think it was... unbeleivable! |
