Ran over to the hill course with reubs an ran a lap at a pretty easy pace although solid on the uphills. Not to cold at all and it was nice to run on the old home trails again... not as nice as Nice though.

Flew back to Uppsala, this was a easy week so decided not to train at all today since i had done a bit more than planned in the week even if it was pretty cruisey.

C • Easy week 2

Another long and cruisy ride with Al and Reubs (and sometimes Anders) from Nice along the coast road to Monaco, Menton and then Villemiglia in Italy for pizza and coke for lunch and then back. Unfortunately Villemiglia was host to italys biggest markets which meant it was chockers, the roads were also chockers which made it a bit more stressful than it could have been although the cars treat cyclists with amazing care here. Even so we did a fair bit of weaving through the traffic to get back by dark, i felt a real brotherhood with the vespa riders. I definately saw more nice cars today then any other day in the rest of my life, half a dozen ferraris, a few lamborghinis, countless porsches but the highlight was a lancia stratos. Awesome ride an Al was amazing to keep up on a MTB with flat pedals!!

C • Nice cars 1

A long and pretty cruisy ride with Reubs from Peymeinade further up into the mountains and then down into Nice. Did some awesome long climbs on little roads clinging to the side of mountains and through a few old hilltop villages, cycling doesnt get any better than this.

Drove up to the village of Trigrance and did a long run with Al and Reubs on a 1:20000 map, mostly on tracks and roads but a bit of forest running. Pretty nippy but nice in the sun, Anders was waiting in the village with a great picnic lunch. Drove through a bit of Gorge du Verdon on the way home.

C • verdon 2

An easy jog along an old canal and back from the house in peymeinade with Al and Reubs. Awesome views down to Cannes and through the villages with all the old villas and olive groves.

Went out on the roadie again with reubs, had a new LaPierre with ultegra today, sweet. Started the ride with 40min of switchbacks climbing up into the hills through a few villages then continued through the map we ran on on the first day before swinging back down round the back of the hill.

A cruisy christmas ride with Reubs from the house in Peymeinade through a few small villages and including a couple of pretty long climbs, awesome weather, 15 and sunny.
