Running 1:10:00 [3]

Started the long run with the group at hackett. I was pushing max but after 10min the pram got a flat so i headed back to the car where i thought i had a repair kit in my bag but i'd taken it out so i just pumped up the tyre hard and headed out again till it went flat then pumped it up again to get back. Beautiful morning for running.

Running 30:00 [3]

ACT XC club showdown with Grant. We both realised the xc was on after independently reading Blairs log and decided to give it a crack, once i found out Grant was doing it the pressure was on esp after he started sledging me via sms in the leadup. I didn't really have a tactic before the start but grant pretty quickly pulled out a lead and from then on my plan was to minimise the damage and hope Grant cracked on the last hill. He didn't and i never got near him. Anyway i was pretty happy with my run, 11.16 on the first lap and 11.13 on the second lap. 1.35 slower than last time i ran this course in 2001. Maybe we'll have round 2 next week... Grant??
