Sunday May 18

Orienteering 1:50:00 [3]
NOL classic, ran the first loop with morty and brian which was good, couple of bad routes around the green but they didnt really matter once we got into the tough 2nd half, plugged away with a good rythm but didnt take all the best route choices on a great course, had that real tired classic race feeling towards the end but almost enjoyed it after a pretty decent run. Bloody long trip home, finally got back at 2.30am.

Saturday May 17

Orienteering 35:00 [3]
NOL sprint race, started pretty scrappily but got into a good rythm after the 3rd and actually read the map and orienteered properly for the first time in a while, felt good to have that feeling again. great bit of terrain and course. inc warm up and down.
Orienteering 55:00 [3]
NOL middle, was looking forward to this after the morning but i really struggled on the first and really just stumbled into it, got into a good rythm like the morning after that but got a bit scrappy in the real tricky part towards the end, great course and terrain. The most fun orienteering i have done for ages.

Ran to work through blackie and aranda hill.

Wednesday May 14

Road bike 2:30:00 [3]
Dragged myself out of bed at the cracker to do cotter urriarra with pete, nath and prosseri. Once we got going it was really fun though, had a few little surges/sprints on the climbs and then on the two rises on the bike path just like the old days, nath came from nowhere to take urriarra from prosseri but ian was king out of the cotter. Had a coffee at Gus' after with nath.

Tuesday May 13

Running 35:00 [3]
Ran a lap of the lake at lunchtime, did 5 x 3min efforts with a min jog recovery. Seemed like every joint was aching and i was going up and down on the spot but was going better by the end, cracker day too.
