Angry Doctor MTB race. Started pretty cautiously since i was scared of blowing up and crashing. Lost a bottle on the first downhill which was a bugger since meant i had to stop and fill it up every drink stop, every 25k. After halfway i started to push a bit harder and then i passed a lot of people which was good for the morale. Front derraileur got stuck for a while until i sacrificed a little bit of water to clean it out. Felt like i was eating gels every 5min towards the end, i had 12 in total, it think that would be more than the recommended daily intake of powergel.

MTB on Bruce Ridge with Thomas, felt very rusty, should have time to iron things out on sunday with a 100km.

This was a pretty pissweak training session but it was all i did so i'll put it in anyway to keep the string of training going. Took the mtb out to bruce ridge for a quick spin when i got home from work. Didnt leave till 4.45 so it was pretty close to dark by the time i got back. Tyres were pretty flat so it was hard going, should have stopped and pumped em up but i kept thinking it would waste valuable riding time in the light.
